We hold our meetings every first Saturday of the month at the Ukrainian Culture Center. Contact us for more information. We would love to see you!
Ukrainian Art Center is the heartbeat of the Ukrainian Community in LA County. We deliver needed support to community and cultural outreach, through meaningful experiences such as: international exchange and educational programs for local and global audiences as well as students, scholars, artists; visitor activities featuring exhibitions, lectures, workshops, performances, seasonal festivals. We continue to form partnerships with peer institutions throughout the world, providing media support pursuing the mission to preserve, and promote and present the beauty of Ukrainian art and culture for the benefit of all.
Cultural diplomacy is an essential tool of public diplomacy and soft power that includes the exchange of ideas, information, art, language, and other aspects of culture among nations and their peoples in order to foster mutual understanding. UAC cultural diplomacy programs and culture–related events play an important role in enabling a better understanding of cultural identity through intercultural dialogue within the international community. UAC cultural programs and events promote the values of peace and nonviolence, freedom of expression, and wider respect for diversity. Ukrainian Art Center stands for the protection of cultural rights which are central to sustaining a peaceful inclusive society.

On March 3rd, 2019, we celebrated famed actor and proud Ukrainian Jack Palance! We were honored to have his brother John Palance and his daughter help us celebrate with amazing stories of Jack’s life and career.
Thank you to all that attended! Thank you to the UAC team and congratulations on working so hard to create this wonderful show. A special thank you to our MC- George Wihinny for all his work and details to pull all this off! We all deserve a little break and then very shortly we will jump back in and start working on our next project!
On June 9, 2019, Ukrainian Art Center was pleased to present the Southern California Premier of the lm JULIA BLUE, which is a love story set in modern day, post-revolutionary Ukraine between Julia, an idealist student activist and wounded soldier fresh from the war-front. UAC will also hosted a very special post premier Question & Answer session with writer/director RoxyToporowych and producer Nilou Sa nya.
